...profile...

I was born just outside Copenhagen, Denmark back in 1971.

I live in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark with my girlfriend Rikke, and on May 11th 1999 I became the proud father of twin boys (Emil &
Silas).

Music has always been my main interest, along with a few other things of course, eh... I played soccer for many years, but decided it was either that or music, and I chose the music. It was a bit easier to get in touch with the opposite sex when you were in a band, if you know what I mean!

When I was around 15 I started my first band with some friends from school. We played cover songs only ranging from Rod Stewart (of course!) and Bryan Adams to Duran Duran and even Gary Moore! As we got better (not good) we started writing our own material and things started to get serious for me. It was a way of expressing myself and it was a really good feeling once a song was finished. We started playing gigs at high schools and private parties and it was a lot of fun. In 1989 when the glam and hard rock scene was at its highest we knew what we wanted to do. That decision cost a few lineup changes, which was tough 'cos we were all friends, but from then on I knew what I wanted in music and it had to be done the right way.

The band was called Sateria and we almost made it all the way, at least that's how we felt about it. We started working hard determined that we would taste succes one day. When we were ready and good enough as a band the scene had vanished and the grunge scene had taken over. We were left with some really good memories of having opened for acts like Little
Angels and Europe just to name a few. After I left the band in '92 the rest of the guys did an album in '94 but as I said the scene was gone.

I was still hungry and I wanted to be in a rock and roll band again and in '94 my second band was a reality. I got in touch with guitarist Martin
DaRic through a newspaper add and we formed PUSH. I won't go through the PUSH story here, but when we started work on our debut CD in 1996 I realised that this was
the band for me. So far we have recorded three CD's and hopefully there are plenty more ahead...
